We've now spent three days on the project. My two helpers, Sarah and Becky are working hard, keeping me scrambling to stay ahead. Our task is to frame out the straight and level structures the carpenters built to look like the heavy, somewhat bent timbers of a two hundred year old pub. As the woodwork is completed we are covering it with expanded lath, over which we will sculpt fiberglass-reinfirced-concrete.
Tomorrow we do prefabricated work in the shop. Saturday I'll weld up the tree armatures for this part of the project. Stay tuned...
